Steve is a veteran facilities management leader with over 25 years of experience supporting both R&D and GxP operations in the life sciences. He has a proven track record of designing, operating, and optimizing complex laboratory and office environments to meet the rigorous demands of scientific research, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency.

As Senior Director of Facilities at Sonoma Biotherapeutics, Steve oversees all aspects of facilities strategy, capital projects, and infrastructure planning across R&D and GxP spaces. His work ensures seamless alignment between facility operations and the company’s scientific and manufacturing goals, including lab readiness, asset management, and EH&S compliance.

Previously, Steve spent more than two decades at the Institute for Systems Biology, where he led infrastructure initiatives, managed multimillion-dollar budgets, and implemented facility improvements that supported critical research programs and regulatory standards.

With deep expertise in HVAC, life safety, emergency power, physical security, and vivarium operations, Steve is also well-versed in GxP and EH&S compliance. A collaborative and strategic leader, he is known for building high-performing teams and aligning facilities operations with long-term organizational growth in regulated scientific environments.
